As long as you are 100% positive they will make the cosplay to your liking, go right ahead. I think commissioning cosplays is a really good idea for people with little sewing/crafting skill, and you want a very professional costume. Every single commissioned cosplay I have ever seen has been absolutely gorgeous, and well worth it. Some people will even work within your budget and make sure you know exactly what you are paying for. I personally think its a smart move to commission a cosplay over ordering it online, since you never really know what to expect with online shopping.
